The moving Baby Jesus shed in Czermna is a work of  Frantisek Stepan, who started to sculpture his work with a pocket-knife in lime tree when he was 15 years old. After twenty years of  hard work  he made 250 figures, which  are moved by a mechanism. The figures perform scenes from the life of shepherds, townsmen and birth of Jesus Christ. Between 1930 and 1938 Franciszek Stepan built wooden organs  made from 270 pipes in 10 records. The descendants of the artist  still live in the house with the shed.
